cc= carbon copy and this means that the person after the cc will also be getting a copy of the document/letter.

bcc= blind carbon copy and it means that this person will also be getting a copy of the letter but no one else except the sender andd bcc should know about it. So, usually the bcc notation is written on the letter after the fact and then only seen on the copy kept in the sender's office.

Carbon Copy - CC used to copy recipients email address.

Blind Carbon Copy -BCC used to copy recipients email address BUT they cannot see who is on the list.

If you want to send a few people the same email, but you dont want them to know whos on the list, then use the BCC. If you use CC then everyone will know who you sent the email to.
