What does sk.yahoo stand for in an email address?

I'm curious as to what part of the world it's in.

All languages are represented by two letters, and the letters sk stand for Slovenskej republiky in Slovensky, so it would be Slovensky replublic in English, I think, but I have never heard of .sk before.
