I work for the school district and the email is setup like Yahoo mail or Hotmail, where the teachers have to log on to the internet to get their email. Outlook is not useable or any other POP3 programs. I want to make a way to backup the email files by mass sending them to another email account, saving them to the computer, or some other possible way. I thought of using a batch file, but I don't know how to do it. Please help!

ussually when i start the comp, the shortcuts are small, the normal size, but now i have the shortcuts really big and theres only room for 40 shortcuts when ussually theres room for 80 or so.

i got a real bad virus so im trying to format my hard drive. everytime i try to format my hard drive it says the format cannot be done because the volume is in use by another process. then it asks me if i want to dismount the volume and i say yes but then nothing happens. what should i do?

Everytime i open a new page or click on a space to start typing an answer my keyboard just starts typing some crazy stuff on its own. It doesnt stop i have to stop it and delete everything before i can type? Please help!

I mean really, I see like 50 year olds going 'lol' and 'rofl' all over the place! If I'm 12 and I don't even use those words, I find it a little creepy when those who are supposed to be 'smart' and 'more mature' then me start to use chatspeak.

my budget is no more that $1,000; looking for use in college and want it with at least 512Mb RAM and fast enough processing speed for watching movies/DVDs and listening to music (so like 2.4 GHz at the minimum); at least 3 USB ports; wireless card enabled (either internal and/or port); a DVD-ROM drive; long lasting battery (8+ hrs); prefering 15" screen but can be between 13"-17" (prefer widescreen version); good video and audio cards; at least 60-80GB hard drive

for whoever can name the laptop, its price, where to purchase, a URL, and list of specs (that fall in range that i have given); the best one (not necesarily the CHEAPEST one) will be awarded 10 points.

NOTE: if there are better options out there and/or if i had placed an impossible range, plz also point that out (am not really the genius when it comes to computers)

How do I get a RAM defragmenter program for free. I know I had one on my old PC that I got somewhere for free but now I can't rememebr where. Have searched but can't find it again. Does a free one even exist anymore? Thank you in advance for any help.
