How do I get a RAM defragmenter program for free. I know I had one on my old PC that I got somewhere for free but now I can't rememebr where. Have searched but can't find it again. Does a free one even exist anymore? Thank you in advance for any help.

A ram defragmenter just pushes all your current memory stuff onto the hard drive. Any new programs that you open will be fast, but everything else that's already open is now on your super-slow hard drive.
Just look for a memory upgrade for your computer. It'll be anywhere from $30 to $50 for some cheep (but good) stuff.

Check your computer's hard drive. When I owned a Compaq a defrag RAM was on the computer. Great way to consolidate space. If I remember correctly it was in the control panel under maintenance.

Please please never defrag your RAM. I am student Of Computer Science and I know that your main memory (your ram) is defrag automiatically after few clock pulses your ram will automatically defraged.BUT IF YOU Want to defrag it using a software then this coul demage your RAM permanently.
