One day it was cold and i wanted to get the ice off of my windshield and back window. So after chipping some ice that would come off, i got the majority of the rest off my windshield and windows by pouring hot water on them and it came right off. Some people claim this is a safety hazard. Is it helpful or harmful to do this?

In times of inclimate whether, snow and ice in particular, the news always reports that there is a need for people with 4 wheel drive cars to transport the emergency medical staff workers to the hospital.

That makes me wonder why the hospital does not keep a few of these vehicles on hand so that they can transport the staff to and from work in times like this. The emergency room patients always manage to make it to the hospital without 4 wheel drive cars. Why do the doctors and nurses need to depend on volunteers to drive them to work?

I live on a "No Motor Vehicles Except For Access" road which is used as a "rat run". The County Council say they can't close the road off as the road is not wide enough for a turning circle/area.

I am going to an actual court for this. My child opened the strap of her car seat and started to walk in the isle of our van while I was driving. I had to pull over to the side to a bus stop to put her back on her car seat. I consider this as an emergency stop; however, the Police still gave me a hefty $300.00 ticket.

People who drive convertibles freak me out. Every time I see someone driving a convertible, I think of the greater likelihood of them getting robbed, beaten, or even abducted. I don't know, it could just be me. same goes for motorcyclists...

I approach an interection with a red light. When I got close to the intersection I move toward the right to prepare a right turn. After I made a complete two second stop and process, the traffic photo took a picture of me. Is the traffic photo too sensitive that it might thought I ran a red light? I don't think I did anything wrong. And if I get a ticket, can I fight it?

We know they're marking your car so they can eventually give you a ticket. But what exactly does the mark mean? Can you just erase it with your foot? Let's help each other avoid those dreaded parking tickets.

Just got new wheels and noticed that when braking or going over bumps, the teering wheel tends to lean a little more to the right than usual. Could it be that the wheels are not the right size for the car, or are just too wide? The car is driveable, but could this cause other serious problems later?

Everytime I'm driving at night (or very early morning) I get really annoyed by these new bright headlights. They always blind me! The worst thing is that I always have to slow down a lot because i can't really see that much when they go past me. Why can't we all just have the normal ones??? I can see enough with mine.

I was recently clamped for parking on my own driveway. I parked where i always park, then went upstairs to drop off shopping and then came back 2 minutes later to get the rest to find a clamp on my wheel. I then phoned the number on the notice to find out what was going on simply to be told " You'll have to wait a couple of hours, no-ones on duty." Upon a clamp-man arriving and my questioning the clamp, the grant mitchell lookalike told me he could put more clamps on for every time i disputed it, thus multiplying the fine. My local council authority (waverly) then told me it wasn't their problem, despite the clamping contract being in their name, because they don't pay the clampers, the clampers simply keep the fines. Now im sorry, but i think this is a bit ridiculous. Why do these clampers seem to be a law unto themselves?
