Yes, I use the turn signal whenever I'm executing any turn on a street.

For all you who said that other drivers should know you're turning because you're in the turn lane, you may be surprised how many idiots drive straight in the turn lanes, or even use them to turn... in the opposite direction! Better to use your signal properly so as not to freak out an attentive driver.

Yes. you should because its the law. But really it should be obvious that you are turning since its a turning only lane. for this reason I never used to do it. But there are many morons out there going straight from a turning lane cutting people off every day because of there incompetence. And because of seeing this happen all the time i now use my signal so others are put at ease that I know its a turning lane and I intend to actually turn.

Yes, I would. It lets the people around me know what I plan on doing. Of course nowadays a turn signal doesn't seem to mean much to many people. I see people signal left and turn right. Good job, stupids. Using a turn signal is a good habit with no negative side effects. It makes life easier for everyone around you, otherwise you're just sitting in the middle of the road for no reason.

In washington state it is the law to use your turn signals in a turn only lane. You can be ticketed if you dont.

definite a turn signal is needed even as turning from a "turn in elementary words" lane, no longer only for the guy in the back of you yet so the guy coming from the alternative direction can see you're turning also..

Always use your turn signal to turn and then make sure the signal is off. I hate following someone for miles with their signal on. You're afraid to pass for fear it's some idiot looking to turn somewhere down the road.

Yes. You still need to indicate to other drivers what you intend to do. I've seen people use turning lanes to pass other cars.
