My personal opinion is Code Alarm.

I have installed many in the past and found them to be most reliable.

depending on what you are after, they have many different versions, with many options.

you could also hook one up so there is no audible sound , the signal can be sent directly to a pager.Generally has a 2 mile alert.

The silent kind! Nobody does anything when a loud car alarm goes off. Surely you've noticed this. All it does is make your neighbors really, really mad at you.
