I turned 16 a few months ago, and I have money for a car from jobs and stuff.

I wanna buy a good looking sports car that gets pretty good miles per gallon.

What would you recommend that looks great and doesn't drink too much gas?

What I'm asking is for us to curb our driving activities enormously. Can we do it? I think that we can if we put our minds to it.

I've already stopped doing the unnecessary things that I used to do. I've already decided that when I take vacation this year, I'm staying home. Tennessee, Florida, California, Hawaii, Arizona, Colorado, and the rest do not need my money to survive anymore. I'll keep it here in Indiana. If I can't get to it within an hour and a half, then why should I bother. No flying either, this is just an unnecssary expense. I only drive my truck to work, to a store (after work if needed), and back home. Once I get it back home, I don't move it till I go to work again. Maybe if the economies of the areas that rely on tourism for income, start to decrease significantly, they might persuade "BIG OIL" to rethink their get rich schemes. Hurt their bottom line and see what happens.

This is just my rant, but worth thinking about.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- If the bids are real - and the eBayMotors.com auction was stopped once for fake bidding - a modified 1969 Dodge Charger, painted to look like the General Lee from the TV Show "The Dukes of Hazzard," nearly became the most expensive car ever auctioned.

The auction closed at $9,900,500 at 1:00 pm Friday. That puts it just $1.1 million away from the $11 million paid for a 1931 Bugatti Type 41 Royale Sports Coupe sold by the auction house Christie's in 1987. To date, that is the highest price ever paid for a car at auction, according to Christie's.

The car was used in the show, which typically went through several cars per episode during its 6-year production run in the early 1980s. But this one is owned by John Schneider, who played Bo Duke in the series, a role that was only slightly less central than that of the car.

I used to think that big companies like GM, Boeing, Rolls Royce, Daimler-Benz or BMW make prestigious and beautiful vehicles for the general public.

It seems to me now that these companies were also heavily involved in the production of military machines during the second world war.

Was it true? Were these big automobile and aeroplane companies heavily involved in the production of military vehicles during the war? How can they make the switch and how many of such companies are involved in the switch?

yesterday, i was driving when i noticed one of my tires seemed a little deflated. I drove it to the gasoline station and began filling it with air but the usual sound of the air pump was odd and the tire did not get re-inflated. I thought maybe the air pump was broken so i took it to another gasoline station and the same thing happened. There aren't any sounds of air leaking through. Why wont the tire inflate? Is the valve broken or something? What should I do?

NO GAS...On May 15th 2007

Don't pump gas on MAY 15th

In April 1997, there was a "gas out" conducted nationwide in protest of gas prices. Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight.

On May 15th 2007, all internet users are to not go to a gas station in protest of high gas prices. Gas is now over $3.00 a gallon in most places.

There are 73,000,000+ American members currently on the internet network, and the average car takes about 30 to 50 dollars to fill up.

If all users did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take $2,292,000,000.00 (that's almost 3 BILLION) out of the oil companies pockets for just one day, so please do not go to the gas station on May 15th and lets try to put a dent in the Middle Eastern oil industry for at least one day.

If you agree (which I cant see why you wouldn't) resend this to all your contact list. With it saying, ''Don't pump gas on May 15th"

I have four 5 lug rims, no tires on the rims. I need to determine the tire size. I do not know what vehicle they came off of as they were in the garage of the house we bought. There are no obvious markings indicating brand or maker. Any one know how this can be done? Thank you in advance!!!
