Diesel engines are available in the Jeep Liberty & Toyata Landcruiser. Larger model Suburbans use the Duramax. Ford Ranger & Mazda used to use a diesel. No plans for the full size 1/2 T P/U's.

Jeep liberty most makes of 3/4 ton trucks, have heard rumors of 1/2 ton fords and 1/2 ton dodges getting the diesal option in the next year or 2. Dodge should have already been there as they have a nice 4cylinder cummins that they put in their 3/4 and 1 ton vans. our Yale repair man has one and loves it. if it'll pull around a 3/4 ton van so full of forklift parts that the suspensions darn near bottomed out it would be awesome in a half ton truck.

SUVs are huge, aren't they?

I would have thought that diesels were standard.
