I was looking at a bunch of used cars and most of them were stick shifts, but also had curse control. I know that when your car is set to curse control it also up and down shifts for you, so how does it work if your car has curse control and a stick shift?

The engine was not overheating and the smell was not there in the engine. Any ideas? The oil was very low - could it have been that?

Is it true an automatic transmission car / jeep / 4x4 should not be used to tow caravans, trailers, horseboxes etc as it damages the transmission. Surely for example an SUV like a Nissan Murano 4x4 with a 3.5 V6 litre engine and a CVT, (Constant Variable Transmission) would be well equipped to tow a caravan with ease, but I'm told by some people that you shouldn't buy a car/jeep/4x4 with automatic or CVT transmission if you intend towing anything, be it a caravan, trailer, horsebox etc etc. Can anyone shine some light into this subject for me please??

It's amazing that the general public is so dumb they believe all the hype put out by oil companies and GM. Electric cars are here! They can exceed 100 miles on one charge. They are faster and quieter than gas. Most importantly they help eliminate global warming. More and more people will be 'Plugging In' lecctricx cars. They are being manufactured now. GM's latest fiasco was announcing they may have an electric car by 2010...if it works stated their spokes person. Is this a sick joke on us at $3.00 a gallon +? Seems rideiculus but somebody is making a ton of dough to prevent electric cars. Theyare here and more on the way. Not half-*** hybrids but true electric cars. It's all over the net just do a search electriccars.com or Zap or Tesla or China electriccars.....Bush better get on the band wagon now. This is the biiggest topic for reelection. We don't want to take it anymore..

I don't want to take a plane or boat to get there though. Google maps won't give me driving directions to brisbane, either. I am currently in the United States.

i live in ohio, and i am planning to take a spring break trip to florida. I will be driving, and my 2 cars are a 2001 oldsmobile intrigue and a 2002 saab 9-5. The intrigue has 60k miles and the saab has 57k. both have had no major problems ever, and i was wondering which one would be the best to drive. the total miles for the trip should be just about 2000, and i dont want to get stranded, so i was wondering if these cars would be able to get me there. My other option is renting a car, but i am trying to stay away from that.

I have a 99 mustang convertable and a cb radio does any one have any good ideas as to where to mount it? I know it should be mounted on glass and not the front windshield but all the rest of the glass goes down and into the car so those will not work. I was thinking down under the car like behind a front or rear bumper but will that work? Any other ideas as to where to put it would where it will work?

I was driving in Long Beach and they have those traffic light cameras that can capture people speeding, running red lights, etc. I pretty sure I ran a red light "barely". Anyway the passenger in my car noticed that they had those cameras. Is there anyway I can find out if I got a ticket? Does anyone know how long they take to come in the mail. It was about 2 or 3 weeks ago.

It can't be fixed. He lost the belt going 70. I want to get the tires (almost brand new) but then what? Who takes old cars away? The car body is perfect too. It's a 1990 Plymouth Laser.
