I am assuming you mean the front plate... when we had a mustang it was brand new and didn't have the holes in the bumper for the plate to go so we put it on the dash.... but when we moved to NY a cop pulled us over and told us we had to attach it. I see alot of cars without the front plate on all the time. As far as I know they got rid of the front plate requirement a few years ago.

The front plate legally needs to be on your bumper. But if you happen to get pulled over for it, you will generally only get a warning.

If your car is over twenty years old, you can register it as an antique and then the license plate laws will only apply to the rear one.

it truly is in reality 11 miles from my the front door because the crow flies to Texas, so I see truly some autos belonging to those who've at the moment moved from Texas. because Oklahoma in reality calls for one plate, contained in the rear and in no way both that Texas does, some will only go away the front plate in position and placed the ok plate in its suitable position. They do get stopped and requested to eliminate them. i'm particular the different "one plate" states have similar guidelines on the books.
