Get a Haynes Repair Manual at the local Auto Zone or auto parts store in your area. It will troubleshoot and show you how to fix your vehicle. Also on the Auto Zone site has a section for vehicle maintenance.
It has the complete wiring diagram of the vehicle.

87-93 IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
12 VOLT CONSTANT YELLOW (+)
STARTER RED/LIGHT BLUE (+)
IGNITION 1 RED/LIGHT GREEN (+)
IGNITION 2 BLACK/LIGHT GREEN (+)
ACCESSORY/HEATER BLOWER 1 GRAY/YELLOW (+)
you should find harness relatively easy by looking under dash next to steering column
