i would say hummer h1 as it accually uses the original hummer gear as opposed to the h2 that uses a ukon frame.

H2, because H1 is a 6.2 diesel it gets slightly better mileage than the H2, despite having a more complex gear drive. The H2 uses a heavu duty 3/4 ton frame, not the ligher weight yukon frame. The biggest problem is a large frontal area and complete lack of aerodynamics.

I work for Enterprise Rent-a-Car. I drive all of the new vehicles. The Ford freestyle gets about 27 mpg highway...(not using a/c)
The Chevy Equinox gets about the same. Freestyle is bigger. Equinox more streamlined, less minivan looking.
