I bought some 195/60R14 Michelin Pilots to go on my '67 VW bus. But I can't figure out if the load rating on the tire is enough for my vehicle. The bus weighs between 2500+lbs and the tire rating is 1168lbs. Is this tire going to explode when I turn or stop, how can I find out what I need?

if you got a $1,000 car that gets 25 mpgs why would you buy a $35,000 hybrid to get 30mpgs? people are always asking for cars with good mileage, and people always tell them "prius, civic hybrid, ect..." but how does that cost anyless than continueing to drive a paid off car that doesn't get great mileage? or buying an older car that gets 40mpgs?

If you had the money to buy the classic car of your dreams, what would it be. My dream car (which i am saving money for) is a 54 chevy belair convertible, baby blue and white. I want to one day be able to drive on the mother road with the top down.

What is the most embarracing thing that has ever happened to you while you were driving. I just got my learner's permit and I ran over my neighbors' backetball. It now looks like a big lumpy egg. I laughed so hard that I had to pull over and get off the road. I was blood red by the time me and my dad.

I just wanna know that I'm not alone in doing something like that.

I have a 2002 suburban with the tow package which i don't actually know what it does ie: does it bring more power to the engine? or does it keep the transmission cool? I'm thinking about towing a car that doesn't run on an 18ft trailer about 3 hours way from where i live, I don't know much about towing capacities but everyone tells me " I'll be fine" and to just go up to the speed limit. Is that right or are there some other things to consider while towing this type of load?

Drinking and driving is NOT illegal in the UK. It is illegal to drive over the legal alcohol limit and as this changes dependent upon size, weight etc and no one is clear on what this limit is for them. People who go to the pub drink 5 pints and then try to drive home are a disgrace and deserve criticism. But many people are caught after being slightly over the limit (maybe drinking 2 small glasses of wine instead of 1 large glass) or simply driving the next day while they thought they were sober. It is also illegal to do more than 70 on a motorway (and speeding kills far more people each year than drink drivers) and yet I bet the same people who are so critical on here have done this at some point. I agree with the ban for doing it, but the criminal record is when otherwise hard working, solid, taxpaying citizens get ruined as people and then cannot find employment even when they get their license back and I have seen people become suicidal from it.

I do not wish to pay for truck driving school again, as I already paid $4000.00 once. I simply let my licence lapse in 2002 and wish to get it back again. I have 4 years of OTR trucking experience and still have the necessary skills to operate a truck safely. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

On these round dead end street instead of parking bumper to bumper. Can you park your cars with hood facing sidewalk and your cars side by side? Cause you can fit 7-9 cars by parking dis way in oppose to 3 cars bumper to bumper. Who knows about this because I don't want homeowners association getting on my case. Is there a proper city ordinace for parking on street courts?

The ice is only about 3-4 inches deep, but my wheels are stuck in it. (it snowed around my car and then froze while I was out of town) I can't break through it with my shoe or a shovel, and its too far away from my apartment to carry hot water out. I don't think kitty litter would work because my tires are actually sunk down into the ice, the problem isn't traction. My tires do move, but the car dosen't even rock. Any ideas?

i'm considering swapping a 12v cummins (94-98.5 dodge pickups-maybe even <93) into my truck and would like to know what kind of milage you dodge diesel owners are getting.

i would appreciate it if you guys can include your drivetrain and body specs like body style (reg/ext cab. and bed length- or just your estimated weight), transmission, gear ratios, and whether it's 4x4 or 4x2. i also want to know if anyone has an aftermarket gear splitter (for extra overdrive ratios) for their trannies.
