They are pretty roomy for such a small car. They're great! I love mine!

The only problem is that if someone in the front is 2 meters tall or more & they are sitting in the front with the seats pushed back anyone in the back seat will be cramped.

If you're looking for a car that needs a lot of space I really wouldn't suggest getting a Mini, but if you don't have to worry too much about transporting a car pool then it's definitely no big deal.

It's a great choice for a couple of other reasons as well. It keeps a good % of it's value (i think it's like 60%) so if you decide to turn around & resell it or use it as a trade-in you'll get a great price for it. Also, it's an incredibly safe car! It's loaded with safety features. A co-worker of mine had a mini before i got mine, and he (being the idiot that he is) drove it home drunk one night and slammed his mini into a guard-rail on the highway. The whole front end was smashed, but one thing that was different than most front end crashes is that the interior of the car looked perfect. Most front end crashes push the interior of the car in, but the interior was perfect and he was left with only minor injuries.

Overall it's a fun car, very safe & i would recommend it to anyone who enjoys having fun while motoring. :-) Also, you'll notice that you will get a lot of waves, honks & thumbs up from other mini owners that you see on the road. The mini community is very friendly!

Good luck! :-D If/when you get a mini you should put up some pictures of it.

p.s. the person before me mentioned lower back problems & it being like "sitting on a stool." I thought i'd add that i've never had any such problems with the car. I have a sport package included in my car which has sport-style seats which may be why there's a difference in opinion. Also, the issue with riding rough.... I have never experienced that either, but again.... the sport package includes sport suspension so that may be the difference there.

I would suggest taking one for a test drive & see how you like it. I don't think you will be disappointed. :)

I definitely have owned both a MINI Cooper and, at the moment a Cooper S. They both take care of avaerage in snow and ice. they are the front wheelpersistent, so that they take care of more advantageous powerful than a rear wheelpersistent sedan. The S has decrease clearence, for this reason isn't as strong in the snow. As for gasoline milage. the actual gasoline milage of a MINI Cooper is about 32 MPG the actual gasoline milage of a Cooper S is about 28 MPG. you wont do more advantageous powerful than 29MPG with a Cooper S, and that i have had as undesirable as 25 MPG conventional. The Cooper S is about one hundred circumstances more advantageous thrilling topersistent. flow with the guide. The 6 speeds is awesome.

Actually, they are pretty roomy for the front seat occupants and have a lot of headroom. Do not expect anyone bigger than kids to be comfortable in the rear.

Good choice of cars. They are very fun to drive.

They don't look comfortable but they look awesome :o) Maybe look at a Scion XA. They have a Toyota engine and in the right color they look pretty cool. Like a slightly bigger Cooper slash Matrix.

i own a shop ,and one of my customers own one of these,no there not comfortable at all, they ride really rough, and your right, they are cramped on space ,I'm kind of small, and i wasn't even comfortable in it,and the guy who owns this one is around 6 feet tall, and he likes it,but i own a dodge stratus, and to me its about right as far as room goes, but i wouldn't recommend this as a good first car to start out in,there just way too small unless your about 4 foot tall, good luck i hope this helps.

It is a cool and surprisingly very roomy car (comparing to its outside dimensions), and fun to drive, no question, but... It is VERY rough on your lower back. It's like riding a stool literally. My wife considered it, and we made a few test rides. We did not buy it because on its roughness.
