Why doesn't Yahoo's (supposed) "green rating" rate cars that are listed (by them) as Diesel/Biodiesel only base the ratings on Diesel and not also show Biodiesel numbers? I'd like to see what my TDI Jetta would rank if I run B99 or even B50. The guide seems VERY biased toward Hybrids, I'd like to get accurate information on how "green" my car would be if I run Biodiesel. Why have a "rating system" if it's not going to be accurate?

First of all what does this do???
I put the whole bottle right after i got an oil change on my Mustang 2003. I wonder if that was a good thing, because now the acceleration feels a bit loose. Whats your take on these cleaners they sell at a gas station? can they ruin the engine? is it necessary to use them? thanks!

Is it OK to let my car coast in neutral? Like down hills and stuff like that. It is an automatic.

There are ebooks on ebay that purport to educate readers on how to run a car on tap water. The ebay seller has positive feedbacks. However, discussion threads on Goggle Groups indicate that the tap water power energy is "snake oil" -- so which is really true?

"This car is about restraint, and not clouding the driving experience with too much technology," said Thomas. "There aren't a lot of layers between the driver and the road."

Rarely has the big-three ever delivered the "goods" when it come time to production cars morphed from prototypes...and when has the average American known ANYTHING about restraint?!?

Live rear axle?...drum brakes and carburetor to go with that.

Here is an idea what Americans want from Ford; A QUALITY car, period. A bunch of worthless features designed to push the car over to the customer is so yesterday, just like a nation of Truck/SUV drivers ALL must be hauling feed for their ranch...NO, Wait! It's a 100Lb woman driving a jacked up 6000 Excursion getting 6MPG...

Funny how Ford lobbied SO hard in the late 90's so they would not have to produce cars to get decent mileage. And now with all their egg's in the Truck/Suv basket...

whether it's a little Ford Fiesta, Classic E-type Jaguar..Porsche 356B.
I have found out from lisetening to my cockney neighbours just what may be happening to our Cars over Night. Forget the people that pinch your car, by going down your letter box and grabbing your key on the side. This is something a little different.
What is happening, is people from real car trade are looking for copies of damsged cars that they have bought, coming to your house at night and then with a recovery unit, picking it up and away they go and it's rung over with the damaged cars identity(some of these damsged cars are not recorded.)
My real question is, how do I report this to the Police, without giving my real name and having them prosecuted with near immdiate effect??

My favourite looking car of all time is the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish (S). However alot of people prefer the DB9. To me the DB9 is more understated than the Vanquish which can be a good thing... What I prefer about the Vanquish is it is more ostentatious. It looks wild! It's curves are more rounded and harsher, giving it supercar appeal. I've seen both many times, but the Vanquish draws the crowds more (at Brands Hatch Especially). I just wish they made the Vanquish with the same tiptronic semi-auto box as in the DB9. Instead they linked the tiptronic to a manual box. I'd still rather have it!

My second favourite looking car is the Ascari KZ1. My favourite Aston Martin is the V600 Vantage. Still these things don't matter. What do you think looks better? Vanquish or DB9, look at the pics on ebay and choose carefully.

I am starting to see an increase of bumper stickers and those suction cup signs that say "Baby on Board" or "Child in Car" or even the license plate frame I saw today- "CAUTION: Grandchildren Inside Car"

Do people who use these signs really think that people are going to drive more carefully because your child is near by? And are they suggesting that its OK for me to drive any way I want to at all other times except for when I am near your car?

my needs:
1) minimal upfront payment (possibly zero)
2) pay upto £250 monthly (incuding maintnance, insurance, etc)
3) have option to early terminate contract (e.g. after 6 months)
4) dont plan to own the car at the end
5) i would have nothing against a used car if this is cheaper

should i only consider Mini and Corsa ?
