$1,500. Ford explorer 1993 - 110,000 miles (mostly highway miles.) The car belongs to a friend of mine so I know that she has taken good care of it. But I really didnt want to buy a car that old or do you think its worth it? (I also have a baby on the way and so that was one of the main reasons I wanted a newer car so it was less likely to break down etc)

They are switching lanes and etc. I can't tell you how many times I95 has been held up because truck drivers get into so many accidents. Why can't they stay in the lane that they are suppose to? aren't they burning more diesel fuel?

I had a small collision yesterday morning. I ran into the back of the car in front of me. Nobody was injured, and neither car suffered any noticeable damage, but we exchanged details anyway.

I have contacted my insurance company to let them know the details, but I was told today that i should let the police know. Is this necessary? What would happen if I fail to report it to them?

Thanks

They have electric roadsters that do 0-60 in 3 seconds and have a 100 mile plus range lineing up for production. Just add a small desile generator and some solar panels and it will get 100 to infinity miles per gallon. Why don't they mandate hybred and solor car manufacturing! Think they should make a limit on how much fuel a vehical can consume? Like 1 gallon per hour private and 3 commercial?

What happed to the big push to get alternative fuel vehicles out to the consumer at affordable prices? I remember there was a big push for electric cars and other alternative fuel vehicles then it seemed to have died down. Do you think the oil companies are "road blocking" them so they continue to make their hugh profits?

I was walking to the subway station and I saw a school bus stopped with red lights flashing. However, I saw all these cars going around the bus. Can't you get a ticket for that and isn't it a hefty fine? I don't know driving rules since I take mass transit to work and don't drive a car.

Every rear view mirror I've seen in cars has the option of 'flipping it back' to reduce glare from headlights behind you. If you look in the mirror, it looks like the reflection is coming from the roof of the car internally. How is this possible? The roof of my car is fabric, it is not reflective. Even when the mirror is in a normal position, if I duck my head down I can clearly see the reflection off the roof of the car. If I turn my head around, there is no reflection.

Bought a used car, and went to the internet to get a report on the car itself on Car Fax. They stated using my Vin number that there were 6 reports on the car, but I had to pay to receive the information.

2001 BMW 330 i , incredibly clean inside and out, premium package (leather seats, electric seats, cd changer,. etc...) $17,500.

The thing is 30,000 miles. Seems to me something is fishy, right?

can bmw dealerships test the cars for odometer fraud? or if the car had been in an accident that had it sitting in the driveway for 3-4 years?
