is there any point in upgrading your exhaust system if most of the exhaust is going to be recirculated into the turbo anyway. why have big pipes if nothing major is going through them.

If your car some how goes under water with you in it, your supposed to wait until the car fills up with water, then roll down the window and escape through it. Opening the door won't work because of the water pressure exerted on the door.
So if you have electric windows, would they work to roll down the window when the car is submerged ?

I own a 98 nissan frontier that I rarely drive, only when I have to help my bum friend move from apt to apt, kidding Tony. I want to perform an engine swap but was wondering what would be the best fit. I know you can swap out a 240sx engine with a sr20det, with some minor modification to the car's tranny and brakes, but would this be possible to do to a frontier? If so has anyone seen this before? Or any other engine swapping suggestions would be appreciated. I'm not sure but I think the frontier and 240sx share a similar engine, a ka24(4cyl) if I'm not mistaken.

I've noticed that whenever I see older people driving, they are usually in an oldmobile or buick. Even at my job, 95% of the people over 60 drive these cars. Is there some special bargain for older americans to drive these cars, or is it just a fluke.

Can any one give me any ideas for my 2003 Nissan Sentra SER (Automatic). I bought the car thinking it was just a way too work. but over the years I feel that I can make it more than just my ride to work. Is it worth it to add a few simple mods like air intake, spark plugs and rims? I know a bit of the tuner world but I know I the true tuners got the money for their upgrades. I am just looking for more fun and power.

Esp the taillights. They look almost look exactly like a modded '93-'97 accord ricer or some rare '93-'97 stock accord si. If our american cars are doing so bad, why dont we make more reliable and cleaner cars instead of stealing good japanese cars?

i was driving my wife's new car and noticed it needed gas, so i pulled into a gas station, got out and couldn't find the little door that covers the gas cap. i found it on the passenger's side. then i had to pull out, turn around and pull back in facing another car at the pump. when he's done pumping, he has to back out because i'm blocking him.
i think everyone should refuse to buy any vehicle that puts the filler tube on the passenger's side. it's stupid and it causes "grid lock" at the gas station.

i was wondering around how much money do i have to spend to make my 2003 toyota celica, not only look cool, but be able to beat a bmw m5 in a drag. (best turbo, exhaust, intake and all those preformance mods) if you think the m5 is a slow car (u abvously havent seen the thing in action) put some other fast car in its place. how much would i have to spend on it to make it a beast?

I am in question of the transmission cooler installed in this specific model and year as if it were possible going at highway speeds if it were possible that it could be possible to run too coll at temperatures below zero? It seemed as though the other day, while traveling at highway speeds as though it was searching for another gear, but yet had already shifted to the overdrive . Could this be that the fluid is being running too cool? Is there something else a person should be aware of in this situation? Is it possible that I should cover the cooler in these frigid temperatures?

It had no sirens on and hit my car. I was pulling away to turn across the junction on the Green Light and it side swiped me. I've read that Emergency vehicles must treat Red's as a Give Way (therefore not making it my fault as he should have waited for me to move out of its way). Does anybody have any experience of this ?
