I own a 1966 Buick Special 2-dr., of which they only made 9,322-ish. I have been all over the country and have only seen one other, a '67, in all of my travels. I was curious how many of my cars are left and where they might be.

Does it take more petrol if you spend more time in the car because of traffic and lights, or, if you cover a longer distance but take less time because it is motorway driving without stops?

My manual says my car is carbuerated, but it doesn't say much. I looked up my VIN #. It says my engine type is 2.0L SOHC "SFI" which is sequential fuel injected. I don't think this car is fuel injected, unless its an older version throttle body injected? I'm so confused.

To sum it up: Can a car be carbuerated and have a fuel injection system at the same time? By that I mean it squirts fuel into the carb and mixes with the air to help start the engine.

Ok, I want to get some opinions on this:

What 0-60 time and 1/4th mile time do you consider:

1) Slow

2) Average

3)Quick

4)Fast

Be realistic. Don't set standards that no car has ever reached. Also, try to keep it in the realm of normal, streetable cars. I'm not asking for the times of track built drag-cars.

I recently bought a Black and Decker Simple Start (Battery Booster), and I read what I thought to be all of the manual and charged it till the green light was steady just like it said.... But my father later bought one and he said that he was going to charge his for 15 hours, I said "are you crazy..it says not to overcharge it" he told me to take another look at my manual, and when I did to my suprise it did say to charge it for 15 hours!!! Now I'm trying to charge it but a beeper keeps sounding off twice every 3 seconds and the green light still indicates that it's fully charged according to both the unit diagram and the manual....What's the problem??? I need as many details as possible... and a way to stop the beeper would be a plus!!! I don't want to overcharge it but it won't work right...I tryed to "boost" a battery for over 15 minutes with no result...Even though the manual says it works in 10, and the battery indicator says it's fully charged.

Some odometers on old cars dont have the one hundred thousandth digit spot to show if the car is over 100k miles. Does the odometer just go back to 00,000 once it reaches 99,999 miles. I am interested in buying a car and the odometer said 67,000, but how do i know its not really 167,000? HELP!!

Okay, the story is the day before christmas I was rushing home from Wal-mart to wrap my bro's gift before he came home. I ended up getting tagged with a 64 in a 45 ticket (cop cut me some slack) and I still technically have my license. They probably won't set my court date until I get another ticket and lose my license because it only take 4 points in a probationary period for me to lose my license and start over. I get my full license in May and can get to and from school with the bus (comes VERY early and takes an hour and a half to get home) or wait for my Mom to pick me up without my license. My Parents have forbade me from using my license. SHOULD I:
A) not drive until I get my full license in MAY
B) convince them to let me drive
C)any other suggestions...?

What do you call it when you hit the gas really fast on your car and it spins dirt while taking off? It's like you hit the gas and it starts to go, spinning dirt for a few seconds, then speeds ahead.

i feel lonely i cant drive because i know the cops want me to drive so they can pull me over and give me a ticket again so they can make money...i was pulled over december 6 2006 for speedin 106 miles per hour ...i know i made a mistake and will never happen again so plzz dont give those stupid lectures...i feel so lonely and mad at myself i am mad for know reason to people...mann... my dad made me go to the court early so that i could get it over with... know i feel like i am disabled and cant touch my car....mannn... i am never speeding again.....i dont know how these 23 more days will go by.... feels like they are going the slowest.....now i feel what a lot of others people feel after getting a ticket for 500dollars and suspended license for 30 days.... i am so bored right now that i am just typing and typing for no reason..... just tell me ways how to make evrything go by fast..ad what are the steps to get my license back on the 30th day like feb. 5 ..i live in CA, Bay Area
