Until a couple years ago, it would have been BMW hands down but since they hired that idiot Chris Bangle to do their styling and are too inept to fire him even though they have been getting torn apart over the horrible new designs, I cannot remain loyal to them.

It is now Audi. Good cars, still focused on quality, good R&D, great engineering and workmanship.

Porsche also deserves honorable mention.

I am a diehard porsche fan myself. I have owned 3, and currently own 2: a 996 GT2 and 930 turbo. i used to have a 996 carrera, but sold that when I got the GT2.

porsche has the best racing history, and without porsche, the world would not be what we know it as today. without Ferdinand porsche WW2 wouldnt have happened like it did. hitlers blitzkrieg wouldnt have worked like it did (Dr. Porsche designed his tanks, which were far and away the best of the time). He also invented several other things, such as AWD, and various other important technologies.
