I lost the keys to my car. It is a 1990 thunderbird. About how much will it cost to have a new one made?

If you take the serial # of the car to a Ford place they may be able to help you. I say they MAY be able to help you because of the age of the car. It's worth a try. The serial (or VIN)# is located on the left lower windshield area. Take proof of ownership to the dealership or they will not help you.

When he refers to the serial # hes talking about the VIN. Its coded to the specific key code for your car. Good luck.

take the serial number to a dealer i would guess about 5 to 10 bucks depending on location

take the vin number to a locksmith, not the car dealer. the locksmith will charge 15-30 dollars if you go to him, if you want them to come to you it will be over 100. for the service call.
