I beleive they should. An IED would have no effect on a Volvo 240 and the wagon has optional third row seats for two more soldiers, or plenty of cargo room for weapons and cargo.

I believe the insurgents would lay down their weapons and tremble at the fearsome sight of a batallion of Volvo 240 wagons descending on their positions. Come on, lets win this thing people.

Is there any hope of fighting a red light infraction ticket in court? I got my ticket in today's mail (OUCH) and I was caught running a red light recently (reportedly 0.3 seconds after it turned red). The police photograph clearly shows my license plate number and I'm the only one who ever drives this vehicle. Do I have any hope with arguing this in court?

If there was snow showing in the intersection, I could claim that it was safer to proceed through rather than try to stop quickly. Or, I could say there was some clown behind me who was following too closely and would rear-end me if I stopped suddenly (can't prove that story though ...).

Thanks in advance for any tips ... I would much rather not pay the fine if I don't have too ...

We live in CO. and as you probably heard from the news, we've been getting slammed one snow storm after another. One thing I've noticed when people park, they lift their wipers from their windshields before they go inside. What signifigance does this have?

You need a license to drive any car. But you don't need a license to fly a ultra-light plane. So if you have a light car, like a Geo Metro then why should I need a license.? You can operate a Farm Tracker on the highway without a license.

You see I am trying to find out if I could take a written test online for a drivers license instead of taking it at MVD. If yes, how would I do it?

Okk. So in cars right, you know how when you first put it in drive, and without even touching the gas petal it goes slowly moves forward? I dont know if it does this to everyone but in my ford expedition it does, anyways:
SO, 1: when you put it in neutral does the axel that the pistons in the motor turn disconnect from the power train wheel thing?
2: When you put it in park, does the car also go to Neutral? (so basically would it be safe to accelerate when in park or would it grind geers and stuff)

now, back to when you are in drive, and the car movies forwards without touching the accelerator -- if you step on the brakes and stop the car, but keep it in drive, does the car automatically disconnect the motor axel to the wheel power axell?? Because if you are in drive, and the motor is trying to turn the wheels, but you keep the wheels on brakes, wouldn't geers grind or something get jammed or something because its trying to spin the axel but it can't because the brakes stop it?
