I beleive they should. An IED would have no effect on a Volvo 240 and the wagon has optional third row seats for two more soldiers, or plenty of cargo room for weapons and cargo.

I believe the insurgents would lay down their weapons and tremble at the fearsome sight of a batallion of Volvo 240 wagons descending on their positions. Come on, lets win this thing people.

The humvee is an ill conceived piece of crap and yes the volvo is
better, but you seem to miss the whole point of your own question. A gorilla war is not winnable, there are some that have gone on for forty years, also most of the fighting is between religious groups and as we all know there is no better way to get people to kill each other. { or as we said in The Nam, lets kill a commie for christ} .

I have a better idea....why don't we give our military soldiers a RAISE and keep the Humvees since they are not broke.....no need to fix them. I think the money could go to better use like I said a raise for our underpaid military.

I think a Volvo C70 Convertible would be a better choice, since the soldiers can be blown up higher when it hits a landmine.

Well, at least you get cheap points for such a dumb question. I believe you are confusing insursgents and IEDs with kindergarten kids with backpacks.
