Further information after the fact also shows that Mr. Kim was much farther away from the lodge than previously thought. Turns out he walked over 16 miles looking for help and the car was over 6.5 miles from the lodge that was closed for the winter.

My husband's family & my family live in Oregon. If I remember what my mom told me it was a Saab station wagon....Like a 2005 or something....
