Mine (this month) was braking hard from the ton to 0 and front left locked up and i headed for tree thanks to no abs, but was alert enough to let off brake and straighten it up. Whats the scariest thinks you've ever done in a car, either intentionally that went wrong or unintentionally?

For example, when RVs do not tow cars on a flatbed, do the cars actually record all the mileage for which they are towed? Does it make a difference as to whether or not it is the front wheels or back wheels that are on the pavement?

My boyfriend got one for xmas and he set it up to go from his house to mine, it took a lot longer than usually and even seem to go back on itself. Though they are probably good for very long distances, I can't help thinking a traditional map is better. Maybe we just ain't using it properly

I live within Westminister Council region - it was in residents parking area that started at 8.30am. Presumably that is when I was ticketed because it was already on the truck at 8.45.
I live here but just had a rental car that we were returning at 9am. So I guess we deserve the ticket. But is was the day after boxing day - the street was completely empty - it is just a quiet residential street - so it seems very unfair. We stopped them but it was already on the truck so they took it away. The ticket was $65 but with the towing it is about £250. 10 minutes overtime in an empty street.

Can they tow me like that? Do I have any rights?

I read somewhere that John Delorean started muscle cars by putting a V8 (I think) in a Bonneville.

Is this true?
