My daughter asked me this morning why they call the end of a road "dead". I truely don't know. She's only five and thinks that there's bats and all kinds of crazy stuff on a dead end road. Does anyone know the true answer?

92: The horn. Use only while your vehicle is moving and you need to warn other road users of your presence. Never sound your horn aggressively. You MUST NOT use your horn

while stationary on the road
when driving in a built up area between the hours of 11.30 pm and 7.00 am
except when another vehicle poses a danger.

I think it's because they have less road awareness than men.
A woman will quite happily drive in front of you when she is in a queue of traffic moving nowhere, preventing you from turning right out of a junction and which would have no effect on her position in the queue of traffic whatsoever.
I genuinely don't think they don't do it to be rude, it's just that they are a bit dim when it comes to driving.
What do you think?

I have a 50 mile commute from my home to work. So I'm driving at least 100 miles per day. I spend about $80 a week in gas. So I'm very interested in the scooter. Do you need insurance to drive a scooter? Is it more or less expensive than insurance on a car? I wonder if it would be too dangerous to drive a scooter out on a major highway like the Pennsylvania Turnpike?

Now iv only ever had company cars which i thought was a better idea but this company is offering a monthly car allowance. My car is a bomb so i wont be using that BUT....if i go for a lease car and use the monthly allowance to pay for it am i within my rights to hand car back when i want(say i go for another job or im sacked ect). I really dowould be great. i dont want to be tied to a 2 or 3 year lease when i dont know what my future holds. I dont have any debt at all and intend on staying that way. Any help would be appreciated.xx

I have no car, and am tired of being stuck indoors. I need some type of transportation other than a car.
