Why do some people insist on driving really slow? Don't they realise that driving in an over-cautious manner is as dangerous to other road users as driving like a maniac? People get so annoyed they get road rage and end up driving too close and erratically trying to get past. And those numpties who won't dare to go in the right hand lane on the approach to a roundabout when they are going straight on, why why why? And woe betide you if you dare to do this and then overtake them whilst on the roundabout!! Grr.... is it just me, or does this wind everyone up?

That is, when will we see cars that drive on their own on our city streets. I believe the technology is in its infancy now. I was hoping someone with some knowledge in the field could answer this. Yet another aspect aside from the technology is, how long do you suppose once the technology is available, will it take for governments and society as a whole to accept it?
I'm guessing it'll probably be at least 20 years, then again I'm no expert.

I was in a parking lot in my brother in law's hummer and i came around a corner and there was a spot immediately to my left but i had to back up to get into it. So i checked the mirrors and looked over my shoulder to see if there was anyone behind me, there wasnt, so i proceeded to back up. there was a guy in a chevey malibu directly behind me and i bumped his car and dented the hood slightly. Am I entirely at fault?

What I am really interested in is handling, driving experience, affordability (around the $15,000 price range or less). I would like a newer vehicle if not new. This will be the first new or near new vehicle I've ever purchased. I have read ALOT about how the newer Golf / Rabbit's are created with the driver in mind, the great gas mileage, the fun factor of driving them, the quietness of the ride and the superb handling. These, along with the styling, are the main reasons I'm interested in this type of car. But, I want to buy American (please no Japanese suggestions)! I want a small to mid-size with a sturdy safe feel, good on gas, and basically similar to the Golf or new Rabbit, but American? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!!!

I'm looking for a picture of a limited edition pink and white ford fairlane for my grandfather. I found a model car that cost $135.00 but I can't afford that so I thought I would just try to find him a picture of one.

It's only $2.50-$3 a gallon according to some websites. What do they do, water it down or something?

I'm thinking of hiring a tanker and coming over to fill it up!
