Some debit cards cards can be used for deposit but not all.
Cash or others are no longer accepted.
You also need to be 25 or over and hold a valid license for 1 year

Yes you do, a debit card will do also, along with your driver's license. If you are going to rent, contact your insurance company to confirm you have insurance to cover the rental, if not you can opt for it at the rental agency.

Contrary to popular belief you DO NOT need a credit card. However
A debit card would need to be preapproved and if paying by cash as check is not accepted you need to place a deposit of approx. 300.00 but that varies with companies.
you also must be 25 before they will even talk to you.

Call them and ask they wont bite..

no I occasionally rent with my debit card because I have no credit cards, no problem. However, we process the transaction just like a credit transaction.
