Usually I go about 5 to 10 miles over the speed limit, so if some idiot is tailgating me and acting stupid, I'll purposely slow down to a freakin' crawl just to agitate them even more. If they are throwing me hand signals and screaming in their car, I'll pretend to pick my nose or I'll give them a little friendly wave and pretend to admire the scenery.
I'll probably end up getting into a fight one of these days, but I'm a pretty big guy so I'm not exactly quaking in my shoes. It's too much fun to mess with these morons.

Just a quick word of advice... if you keep a baseball bat around for tailgaters... keep a ball and glove in the car too.
Just a bat show's "intent", with a ball and glove on hand the charges aren't as severe for head bashing...

Simply move over and let them by. Maybe they are just being an asshole, maybe they just found out their daughter was rushed to the hospital. How do you know? Just let them by and go on with your day. Do not make a bad situation worse, or cause an accident because you believe it is your right to regulate the roads.

i tend to blast off n leave them standin although i know its the opposite of wht im meant to do, jst a note to the couple above bout bats....i got caught with a pick axe shaft except i was chasing the guy dwn the street at the time so it was defo intent but got away wi it ( he started at me wi road rage i pulled over n he got in my car...trust me he wont do tht again)

If someone gets too close to me, I just slow down even more. This usually gets them even more upset, and they speed up and go around me, which then I hope a police is near by. If there is not two lanes for them to go around, then just to a quick pull over, this also pisses them off and they will speed around you.
One thing you don't want to do, is give in to their level, and start a real road rage! Which I know is so tempting to some of us.

Don't do anything If there that impatient they'll be gone soon enough.Your safety is more important than there need for speed. When this happens to me I slow down a little and take it easy, It's there problem not yours!

Don't drive slow in the left lane - you're pissing people off! If they are a real menace, take down their license plate number as they pass you and call 911.

I've lightly tapped my brakes in the past, also, I've grabbed my cellphone and gave them the impression
that I was calling 911... but, the best thing to do, is
pull over if they are very erratic, and then call the
cops.
