I am sick of traffic courts making money off me to finance their new golf course or whatever. Why are Europeans smarter in this regard, having autobahns. Is it because the US is so obsessed with making a buck off drivers and setting ridiculously low speed limits to achieve this? The European population is more dense than the US, so it's obviously not a driver population issue. They drink more than the US, so it's not a DUI issue. Any good arguments out there as to why or why not the US could have autobahns?

ok, no stupid answers please,
why are there more accidents in uk than germany but yet germany had NO speed limit on their motorways (auto-bann)

strange that isn't it!!! is it because US in uk don't know how to drive or is it because the speed limit is too low and yet ppl try and get to A-B faster so they are breaking the speed limit-resulting in RTA's(road traffic accidents!

England, flat but enough hills to want a very low gear and good brakes.

To work, shopping, terrible road surfaces and muddy tracks, lifting over stiles, all purpose bike.

Type, make, type of gears, brakes etc.
