Seeing as how diesels are much tougher than petrols, i thought it would be better over the longer term use of the car

Yes it can handle the nitrous, But instead of using nitrous which is expensive and hard on the engine you can use propane. It will add *** piles of power and cost a fraction of what it would for nitrous. The propane is also a lot easier on the engine and can actually be ran all the time in moderation to improve fuel mileage. Hope I have been helpful.

I WOULD have said no due to the super high compression, but looked at the link provided above, and found out it can be done.

As with any engine running nitro, it will stay together as long as you have the right stuff done to it
