My Mercedes E-class is just a really nice place to be. We often come home, and sit listening to a piece of music on the radio - today Brahms violin concerto in Dminor - until it finishes. It's such a calming place to be, I don't get stressed in traffic in it, whereas in my Alfa, which is always straining at the leash, I'm always looking for a spare inch of road to get in front of the other guy. It's the Italian way.

absolutely it is!!

i've been driving for over 12 years and i still sometimes sit in my car and listen to the stereo.

better than that tho....if you like thunderstorms ( i love them! ) drive somewhere in the open, preferably up a hill and watch the lightning from there...it's amazing!

it's safe because of the rubber tyres and it's fantastic because you're so close to it all...rain pounding on the car, great view of the lightning etc.

ps congrats on passing your test...wonderful feeling, isn't it?!

I don't do it anymore but when I was a teenager I did it.
Now my car goes into the garage and it's usually too hot in
there to sit in it for too long.
But congratulations on passing your test. : )

Not since I was 17.
But if you enjoy it, then go for it.
If something brings you pleasure without spoiling other people's happiness, then you should enjoy it to the full.

Congratulations on passing your test by the way.

Yep a lot of cruisers do that with full music coming out, providing there are no houses about.
