Plenty of people say there are good reasons for owning suv's. Just as many others say there are no good reasons. If someone buys an suv and can pay for the gas, do they deserve to be insulted in today's society? Do sites like fuh2.com have a point? Do people really think that large suv drivers are disrespecting our military in Iraq? What are your thoughts on this subject?

In powerful rear wheel drive cars with Automatic transmission.
I have seen people reving the engine on D (Drive gear) while pressing the brakes so the rear wheels start spinning.
Lot's of smoke, lots of laughs, etc...

But why doesn't the brake stop the turning of rear wheels?
Does it mean they are heavily damaging the rear brakes???

Do they really press the brakes hard?
Can it be done on a Manual transmission car?

The Cummins is sweet, silver with tinted windows, crew cab, longbed, it has that billet grille from the factory, and all you can hear is the turbo except at idle. sounds awesome. but, i've always been loyal to chevys. and the duramax is a great engine...what do you think?

I'm 17 and I have an '06 BMW and I always get different reactions because of my car. I like the attention sometimes but then other times adults say things that make it REALLY awkward... so, when you see a kid driving a car like a low-model BMW or Mecerdes (like a 3-series or a C-class) that you know his probably his/hers and NOT their parents', what is your opinion on them? try to give your age too for statistical purposes too=)

This question is for the die hard Ford fans like myself.
The reason I'm asking this question is becuase I'm thinking about building a 351 W. racing engine with a stroker kit to make it a 427.
I know the original original FE series 427 has a Y block design with cross bolted main caps. Virtually indestuctable.

Lately, the backseat floor on the passenger side of my Toyota Corolla '03 has been soaked in water. I'm thinking it's either the water from the AC or something else, although I'm not sure.

Any ideas on what might be causing this?
