If he gave you his information yes. You need to call his insurance. If he did not give you that information call the police. If you live in a stat that has a mandatory insurance law they can help. If not you may need to go to small claims court. Always get insurance information!!!!

the above people gave good info. Call the police and also leave a message on his machine (or at his house) saying you need to have your repairs paid for or you'll report him to his insurance company. (even if you don't have his insurance info, he doesn't know that. He might think you got it someplace official (like the police or the DMV).

Did you get any of his info other than his phone number?. .

You might be able to find his home address using a reverse lookup on the internet if it's a land line (home phone) at the below site:

Well did you get his insurance information? If you know who he is and where he lives you can contact the police if he does not come through. Leave a message for him threatening to call the cops. He will probably pay you then.

yes... call the police now. You could also report it to your insurance company. They can track down his insurance company and put a claim in for you. This guy probably was hoping you would just forget about it or not have the guts to follow up. Prove him wrong! Good luck to you. Oh yeah... it might be a good idea to try and track down witnesses who saw him hit you.

simple. Call your insurance company. That's their job! As long as you have his information, name or number. tell them what happened and it's their job to deal with it. Tell them what he said he would do and what he wouldn't. have all the facts ready. You'll be all set.

If you got his name, turn that in to the police, but if not, its too late. Sorry
