I'm looking to buy a used bike. How many miles are considered ALOT for a bike?

you might be able to make the bike by haiving 2 rear swing arms on 1on either side of the bike and put the main rear chain cog in between the 2 rear wheels by only putting a single standand wheel on the front and 2 single standand wheels on the rearend of the bike.

im changeing taillight on 05 harley sportster to laydown type which is flatter they suggest useing a led bulb which is flat and round and will be more acceptable to the laydown lens.ive been told different stories.one person says no problem changeing regular 1157 for 1157 led, next one says i will have to install resistor in the wire.are these led bulbs really this much of a problem, isnt anything easy anymore,im just trying to have a better looking bike and didnt think there would be this much of a problem. to me a bulb is a bulb as long as its the same number.can anyone please give me a good straight answer other than dont fix whats not broke.am i really going to have all of these electrical problems everyone is talking about just for changeing a bulb. please help

Why are they allowed in residential areas? Do their riders not realize that at 1am, people and expecially children, are TRYING to sleep and do not need to hear a motorcycle so loud that it sounds like it is in the bed next to you? They should all be dismantled and made into wind chimes.

Most of the stop lights where I live have sensors to detect traffic flow. These sensors are what makes the light turn green to maintain a constant yet safe flow of traffic. Since my motorcycle doesn't weigh as much as a car many times I have to just run the red light when the traffic clears, because the sensor does not detect me and the light won't change to green. My question, how do I get the sensors to recognize my presence and make the light cycle as it would for a car?

My motorcycle was running just fine up until wednesday when I had my last ride. I was driving it pretty fast and I thought I had in 4th gear and tried to change to 5th, the thing is it was already in 5th... when I did that it suddently lost a lot of power and since then it has been that way. When the bike is in neutral it has its normal acceleration, but once I put in 1st it looses power. Could anybody tell me whats is possibly wrong? I got a Honda VTR250...

Is it easy to do it yourself? It makes the rear end look awesome in my opinion , altho I'm sure there are some drawbacks ( dirt/rocks getting kicked up onto the body?).

This will help settle an office conversation dispute. Also, we would be interested in your age. Our presumption is that younger women like the sport bikes and the older women like the Harleys...what say you?

I'm concerned about it overheating, or other breakage that such a trip could inflict on the bike. I would drive it 6-8 hours a day, taking my time not pushing it until I got there.
