My motorcycle was running just fine up until wednesday when I had my last ride. I was driving it pretty fast and I thought I had in 4th gear and tried to change to 5th, the thing is it was already in 5th... when I did that it suddently lost a lot of power and since then it has been that way. When the bike is in neutral it has its normal acceleration, but once I put in 1st it looses power. Could anybody tell me whats is possibly wrong? I got a Honda VTR250...

Couple of things could be: Flywheel sheared something and timing is off., timing chain could have slipped a notch, spark plug could have melted, or could have just gotten some dirt in the carb jet that is plugging it up. Broken ring? Is it smoking?

sparkling all poinys of connection between the cables and battery IE hardware blanketed.. Coke Cola will devour corrosion! Then make constructive there TIGHT! and cables are good to rhe fuse block and floor. It sounds like your charger supplies the volts it desires to at little or no amps. make constructive the batt is complete of distilled water. it would want to have a useless cellular also. Hook the charger to the wires and turn the most important and be conscious if it cuts off back.. Dont attempt to start up it with the charger connected.. you may want to short the starter..

Change the spark plugs, and run some carbie cleaner through it, for starters. If you refuelled, just before it went to ****, then it may be a bad batch of fuel.

What is normal acceleration in neutral? That's a new one on me.

It sounds like you lost your chain (your chain broke).
