Ok so I passed the MSF course and still need to take the DMV test to get my license.

What do I need to bring?

1. Certificate of MSF course completion
2. My driver's license

Is there anything else I need to bring such as a birth certificate or any other forms of identification to get my license should I pass the written test?

(17 year old that lives in TX)

I have removed the circlip pushrod and steel washer, and I have had it soaking in solvent for 3 days and she will not budge, I have tried everthing to get that plunger out, Everyone says that air pressure will push it out, I tried 100 pounds air but she will not come out, anyone got a real idea, and not the repairman bit either, 1978 Honda CB750F

Why do bikers chant: "Loud pipes save lives" and then chant "Helmet laws suck"?
It seems to me that if bikers are so concerned about safety, they would want a good helmet and one that is DOT approved.
Then again .... loud pipes are not really about safety are they?
Riding skill saves lives, being sober and not speeding.
Yes, I'm a motorcyclist (Harley's) for well over 40 years. I ride quite, respect others and get equal respect.
The NTSA compiled stats make no notice of loud pipes, but do mention helmets in saving lives.

Almost two thirds of the fatalities were associated with speeding as an operator contributing factor in the crash.
Collision with a fixed object is a significant factor in over half of the fatalities
Half of the fatalities are related to negotiating a curve prior to the crash
Braking and steering maneuvers possibly contribute for almost 25 percent of the fatalities
Almost one third of the fatally injured operators did not have a proper license

My riding expeiriance consists os 4 yers of dirtbiking (custom XR350 was last bike). What do you recommend for building my skills? for example drills, country roads- road time, etc. I will be taking a motorcycle safety course also (required by military) Anyone have any advice that would help me to saty as safe as possible? While still building my skill base? anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.
