The juries still out, but the Kaw was introduced to be a Busa killer.
Yes the Busa is the fastest bike, but only on the drag strip. It has more meat in the jugs to allow more work. the Kaw was not designed for 1/4 mile. it was disigned to be the fastest "big" crotch rocket, and probably will be. as far as top end? no way to tell yet there have been several years to fix the Busa to go around the law. the ZX14 is new. all the manufacturers have pretty well agreed to abide by the European law of governed not to exceed 186MPH. they have a work around for the Busa and the ZX12-both available last I heard, both pretty complex. the ZX12 won that war at 194.2MPH
the ZX14 is a short frame, made for twisties, the Busa has a 60" frame, that's why it's so good on the strip.

According to me Suzuki Hyabusa is the fastest bike of the world. No bike has ever born to defeat it in racing and speed, not even Kawasaki ZX14.some people say that Ducati is the fastest bike making company ,but i think its totally wrong.''HAYABUSA IS THE FASTEST AND THE BEST BIKE OF THE WORLD.''

I've not yet had the chance to ride either one, but I saw the show "Superbikes" on the Speed Channel last night and the Kawi beat the Busa in an 8th mile drag race, but not by much. I think that it really wouldn't matter because both bikes have enough power and speed to please anyone. Also, I don't know anyone that owns the Kawi yet, but my friend that owns the Busa really loves it.

They are both big and bulky. I've seen a few 'busa's at track-days and they didn't do that well. I guess if you like to go straight really fast, they would be your game, but any monkey can do that. It's the cornering that counts, and those two bikes are not made for the twisties.

I don't care for riding either, they suck on a long trip. Only made for 100+, not for comfort.
