The power commander IS a big factor if you are doing motor upgrades but they are NOT pre set and they are NOT installed on a dyno. Come on guys, do your research. You put a power commander on IF, after you run the machine on the dyno, the readings suggest you need one.....THEN, and IF you need one, a power commander is installed before you put it back on the dyno and then adjusted on the dyno......and YOU ARE WELCOME!

It's definitely worth it, especially if you plan on doing any additional power mods to your bike. You'll definitely need it if you do anything to the exhaust or intake. It's an electronic device that let's you reprogram the fuel injection mapping to make more power. Without one, any modifications that might change the air/fuel ratio in the engine won't work right and your bike will run like crap. Cheapest place would be to buy a used on off Ebay.

It's better to get the Big Shot By Arlen Ness, It's already pre programmed. Cheeper and works well on my bike. Maping is already set.

Check out these sites, for more information on all of the PC for bikes.

yep, I agree. It's definately worth it, BUT plan on having it installed by someone who knows what they're doing and it needs to be installed on a dyno
