How fare do you commute each day, in miles (both ways)? Are you M or F? I'm trying to figure out if there's a connection.

thanks! You are awesome!

So this ineffective government of ours is thinking about national road pricing, at an average of £1.35 per mile.
Is this really going solve the issues or is it simply yet another tax on the motorist?
My office is 110 miles from home, so a round trip, which I do 2-3 times a week will cost almost £300.
I certainly won't pay it, my company will, they in turn will pass that to our clients who will then pass that onto their customers, that's you lot.
The consequencies of this will be devastating, this clearly has not be thought through, no surprise there.

Your thoughts please.

Say I was traveling in the lane next to HOV and the person in front of me was driving very slow, (below the posted minimum speed limit) and I passed them in the HOV lane. While in the HOV lane I was behind a person driving alone also. I seen them get back into the lane and there was a motorcycle cop in front of them. As soon as I seen it was safe, I got back over. Then the Motorcycle cop pulled me over and cited me for driving in the HOV lane. How do I contest this and aren't drivers with ULEV's authorized to drive in the HOV lane anyways?

Okay, I know the old joke about this being necessary "to make a fast getaway." But really, why do people do this? I guess on one hand, I really don't care, except for one particular situation. If you want to be strange and weird, go ahead and be my guest! But if you expect me to sit there patiently for 30 or 45 seconds behind you while you decide to be strange and weird, then why don't you go be weird in a way, or in a time and place that doesn't inconvenience other people?

Who came up with this weird habit in the first place? A bank robber or the Army or somebody who really did "need to make a fast getaway?"

today while coming in to work by bus there was a car stopped in the middle of the road. the cars in front of us went around him but the bus was too big to do that, so the bus driver stops behind him and beeps. the car still does not move, so the bus driver kept on beeping. the car ended up pulling ahead and parking only when he seen a police cruiser. i was like what was the point of stopping in the middle of the road when there is parking available, that was just pure ignorance. if the police cruiser didn't come when it did, that car would of made us wait until the people they are waiting showed up. now why do some people just think they own the road?

is it me or are drivers nowadays ignorant? by this i mean, say for example, you want to pull out of a junction, and its busy, one way. the way your wanting to turn. the thing is, nothing is coming in the opposite direction, yet, non of the traffic on the other side of the road are waving or flashing you out. how hard is it to stop for a couple of seconds and let people pull out?! it takes no effort to do. i'm 25, and let people out, i'm also courteous (saying thanks if someone does let me out) just think, next time someone is waiting to pull out, just dab your brakes and do them a favour, cos its frustrating waitin there hours before someone lets you out.

I was at one of them confusing places in a city (Manchester UK), when there are a number of traffic lights, I went through 1 set then the next set suddenly changed, If I would have stopped I would have been blocking traffic from the side of me (I think) So I panicked and do drove through the light, it was at night, would a flash have gone off, if there was a camera on the traffic light? Do they now use night vision? If I do get a ticket would it be worth contesting it, Saying it was poorly laid out and that I’m not from the area and that I have had a clean licence for the past 10 years (only been driving for 13 years) and it was a mistake made by confusion?
Thanks for any replys
