When are you considered lost while driving, for instance if the Limo driver says he does not see or can not find the address he is looking for, is he lost?

I would say that you are lost when you do not know where you are or how to get to a familiar location*. *(Like say you are in a city and you find yourself turned around. You may not know where you are but you see a road and other visual references that lead you to a familiar place.)
In the case of the limo driver: he is saying he can not find an address. Perhaps other visual cues would help him narrow in on where the address is but he is not lost.
