Typically on a Saturday evening the traffic is not too bad. The 5-91-15 works. Or depending on where in LA your starting from the 60E-15S or the 10E-15S also works well if you are further inland.

On a straight drive with minimal traffic, it's about 2 - 2.5 hours.

I have a recommended route and a good time estimate. Take the 5 South to the 91 East to the 15 South. If there are no accidents or inclement weather the trip on a Saturday afternoon will take two hours. Allow two and a half for any traffic delays.
