No--- supply and demand (economics class) if you put in a price cap, demand will go up and the supply will go down. then you have a shortage and when there is a shortage, almost nobody will get the $1 gas

Yes - a low one too because even if the price of gas per gallone were low everyone would still make a profit and it'd be a hell of a lot easier for everyone - some stupid political jerks won't let it happen though

yes, $1.00 a gallon. it can be down and everybody still make a profit. the polititions won't let it happen.
