when 4 of u get a taxi why cant the one in the front seat just pay and then sort it out when u get out the car instead how much is thet i say eg £3.60 how much is that each one will say ive only got 5 pounds can u get 4 me anotherone ive got 97 pence o i have 2 pound but u owe me 70 pence from yesterday on so on all this just takes up time pissing about 4 **** sake one of u just pay and sort it out when u get out

I think it is a young persons thing rather than a student's thing. Remember a student can be anyone from 16 to 109! I was never a student but remember doing this when I was about 18.

It happens at meals as well. "But I didn't have a starter" is an all too familiar cry!

It's not until you get older that you start to realise how petty it is to work out to the exact pence each and every person's bill and is much easier for the bill to be split 4 ways (or whatever) no matter what everyone had to eat.

Now that I'm older I try never to sit in the front seat of a taxi as I always end up paying and usually end up out of pocket as I don't have enough change to give my friends.

Reason being is everyone it stingy. When I was a student one of us would pay the taxi, or tickets for whatever and then the favour would be repayed later.

Absolutely correct....I agree with you.And it depends on the way each kid is brought up.Hope you get better ppl to deal with. :-)

agree, but students generally don't have alot of money so some try to spend as little as possible.
