1.select a flat near your office
2.You can use a bike(even an Indian one!)
3.Check traffic upadates given by FM RJs for traffic jams.
4.Short distances...keep walking.
5.Start as early as possible from your home.
If you own a car you will find the hell near DXB while searching a parking space!!

Its same in Mumbai/ Bangalore too. Its better to live near the workplace. Walkable distance from home. You will save time & money.
