I have been thinking of giving up my car a long time mainly because its driving me broke. (gas, insurance, car-note)

I use it mainly to get to work. I live 3 blocks away from my job.

Public transport here is great. but I have invested 2000 so far on the truck I still owe $12000.



should I give up the truck and just ride the bus like everyone else?

Some people call it drafting when they tail gate and dont realize the risk involved.Our tires have steel in them,we have a blow out it can go through your windshield.Thats what scares alot of us drivers out here,hurting someone else.I know there are alot of truck drivers that drive like idiots but thats not all of us.Please give us room to see you.We care about your life and your families.Thanks!!

I worked for 10 years. Everyday I drove back and forth from work, I never get a traffic ticket. Now I lost my job, I tried my best to avoid rush hour when I go out. I drove less.

Maybe it's Murphy's law, I got 2 traffic tickets within a month! One for driving faster than speed limit. When I asked for the speed reading, I was told it was not available. Another is for running a stop sign.

I wish I had a recording device in my car to record my speed. So I will know my exact speed.

I don't know anymore. My car was old and lost one front light. Is it possible that's why my car was so "visible"?

I will be making a trip from Southwest Michigan to Saint Petersburg Florida in two weeks. Can anyone give me construction info & gas prices for the route I will be taking? Here we go...South 65 towards Louisville Kentucky....East 24 toward Chattanooga Tennesee....South 75 towards Atlanta Georgia....South 75 crossing into Florida.....Any help you might have to offer would be appreciated!!!
p.s. Any info in South 31, construction or otherwise? from Michigan through Indiana???

I just had a huge blow out on my rear passenger side last night after midnight while coming home from work. There I was changing the tire, putting my spare donut on at close to 1AM.
ANYBODY out there, can you tell me if it is covered(the tire) under my warranty. I don't think it is. its a 2006 Corolla with 9900 miles.
