When on a divided highway 2 lane each direction.
Which lane is considered "Inside lane" the one next to median (Left) or lane next to shoulder (Right)

Medians is the middle of the road. Shoulder is on the outside lane. Therefore the anser to your question is the inside lane is on the median.

Outside lane is the lane next to oncoming traffic so the inside lane is the other one. Some countries have opposite ways of traveling on a highway so no matter where yo are this is the easiest way to remember
