I've been driving a PAS car for about a year now, but it's now time to buy my own car, and I'm going for something old (without PAS). But I've hardly got any experience in non-power steering car. Could someone give me a brief idea on how hard it is, and how long it'll take to get used to? By the way, I'm a pretty young driver, so it may take more time to learn than average!!

First I would like to thank the people that answered my first question with regard to how much money you are spending on gasoline. I have been finding myself locked in the basement and extremely paranoid about spending any money on things other than my vehicle and gasoline. It seems like my like half my paycheck goes toward my vehicle and fuel. I really miss the good old days. Now if you combine the added cost of maintaining a vehicle and the price of fuel we are talking about a good portion of your wage.

I want to get some information with regard to what people are spending on fuel since the prices have sky rocketed. I am spending on an average of $70 per week. A year ago it was less than $45. Unfortunately I drive more than most of the people I know.

I spend one hour a day in my car. It sits all day in the bank car park and all night outside my flat. I don't use it to go to the pub. It gets attacked regularly by yobs and is constantly reversed into in the car park. Should I be kind and have it crushed?

Can anyone advise how best to avoid getting points for inadvertent speeding? NIP suggests I was doing 44mph in a 30 zone (camera is just past the speed limit sign).
