How many miles per gallon does your vehicle get?
Take total miles, divide by the miles per gallon
that will give you gallons, take gallons, multiply this by gas per gallon price. Figure about $3.25 per gallon

It's 1682 miles from Los Angeles, CA to Little Rock, AR.
Assuming your car gets 20 miles to the gallon, you'd need 85 gallons of gas. With gas at $2.75 a gallon, it would take $232. With gas at $3.00, it would take $255.

Well depending on the type of car you have. I once drove from Cali to Texas and owned a Kia. Gas at the time was around $1.50 a gallon or so. I spent maybe $120.00 tops in gas and got about 300-350 miles to a full tank.
So needless to say, it depends on the mileage you get in your car and what type of gas your car requires.

California and Arkansas are big states. From what city to city exactly? That's going to be needed to calculate the approximate number of miles involved times the current price of gas.

Calculating from LA,
about $200 - $300 if you have Corolla or Civic,
about $600 - $800 if you have a V8 truck like Ford Explorer

Couldn't begin to tell you without knowing what youre driving, and what kind of mileage you get. With the national average price fo gas at nearly $3.00 per gallon, what I can tell you is, it's going to be EXPENSIVE!

Determine mileage of trip. Determine how far vehicle will travel per gallon of fuel used. Divide mileage of trip by miles per gallon = fuel needed for trip.

I would go to Mapquest find out the milliege from one place to another, then I would see how much miles per gallon your car gets...
