Does anyone else have problems with Renault Scenic faults. Local dealership have had my car for one month without fixing it.

Hi,

I am just wondering if anybody can help me, I have a p reg Renault laguna 2.0 rt and I have just changed the radio unit and I have lost the central locking both ways from via the key fob and the door lock and the fan now runs after the engine is off plus now since I left the car for a week the battery went nearly dead and now I cannot start the car as I think the immobliser has now locked the system??? Can anybody help please??

I have a Renault Megane from 2001. For the fourth time, the ignition coils have failed. The previous 3 times were covered under warranty so I was not charged for replacements. This time I phoned Arnold Clark Renault and was told I'd have to pay £70 for a diagnostics test.

I am sure that the problem is the engine coils so don't think I need
the diagnostics test. Is this compulsory? Also, roughly how much would I be expected to pay to replace the coil? I am also due to have a service and MOT done within the next couple of weeks as well.

Do I have a leg to stand on if I say that there is obviously a fault
with their coils and I shouldn't have to pay for them to be fixed
AGAIN? They have never admitted to me there is a known problem with their coils.

Also, is it necessary to go to an authorized renault service centre to get the repairs done or can it be done at any local garage that might be cheaper?

The noise starts straight away, sound like a tapping noise in the head, if you drive the car and have your foot on the accelorator the speed increases with the engine speed, if i take my foot off the accelorator the speed of the tapping increases until i get to the idle speed again what is this?

where does the boot cover thing go when the seats are up. it just gets in the way of legs and won't fit across behind seats as too wide. also floor mat? it is bent in half and has two splits but can't work out where it is meant to go when folded up. put it on floor in front of back seats but it is ripping. help???

i have a 06 renault megane cabriolet ,i am not sure if there is something wrong with the seats :-
when u put the seats forward to get into the back seats you have to put the seat upright and fully back before you can lock it and move it forward again .if you dont it doesnt click locked and just moves back n forward .

Is it possible to deactivate the tyre pressure sensors on a 52 plate Renault Laguna Sports Tourer (Estate). Each time a new tyre is needed I end up at a Renault dealership. Can they be disabled, so that the Service light goes off on the dash?

Heater blower was working fine. After turning ignition off and re-starting, blower was not blowing out any air at all. Have changed fuse and still not working. Any ideas?

my laguna (r reg) has developed a fault.
the key fob now wont open the doors, you have to use the lock. the red light comes on, on the key when pressed.
yesterday the car started fine, but today it turns over but won't fire. i've checked the spark plugs and they are not sparking.
could this be an immobiliser fault or something else?
any ideas much appreciated.
